Crosscurrents, the podcast series, aims to highlight interdisciplinary research initiatives, mainly focusing on the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Memorial University. This podcast series features discussion with lead researchers across the university, with the next several episodes including recordings of key talks presented at the Nexus Centre Workshop, the Environmental Humanities in Public Realm. Episode 5 features Ashlee Consulo, Director of the Labrador Institute of Memorial University, and Sean Kheraj, an environmental historian from York University. With Ashlee Consulo discussing the concept of ecological grief among Indigenous people in Labrador that are experiencing the effects of Climate Change, and Sean Kheraj focusing on the history of the oil and gas pipelines including the Trans Mountain Pipeline Project, this episode is sure to entrigure all Canadians.
